Khwab Ki Tabeer | Khawab Nama | Khwabon Ki Tabeer in Urdu

Islamic dream interpretation true dreams are rare, and each dream is unique, as we will find in this section of this introduction. As dreams are thus complicated and vary in meaning depending on the source, the contents, interpretations, variations, manifestations, time, season, cultures, acceptable witnesses, elements, conditions, definition, subject, phrasing, perception, purity, wisdom, and one’s own understanding of his dream, etcetera, it seems appropriate in this section of the introduction to illustrate some rare dreams and to help the reader better evaluate his dreams. • Abdullah bin Omar, God be pleased with both of them, related that in his youth, he wished to see a true dream and to hear its interpretation from God’s Prophet, upon whom be peace. At that time, God’s Messenger (ﷺ) used to ask people if they saw any dream and he interpreted them accordingly. Abdullah once prayed: “Lord, if Thou reserves any good for me, then let me see a dream that will be interpreted by God’s Messenger, upon whom be peace.” One night, Abdullah saw a dream where two angels took him and brought him before a third angel who addressed Abdullah saying: “You are a righteous man. Do not merely talk!” The angels then took him to visit hell-fire, which was folded up like a well. In it he saw some people he knew, but the angels pulled him away from them to the right. When Abdullah woke up, he told his dream to his sister HafJaa, the wife of God’s Prophet, upon whom be peace. In turn, Hafsa, God be pleased with her, related the dream to God’s Messenger (ﷺ) who commented: “Indeed, Abdullah is a righteous man. It will be good for him if he increases his prayers at night.” Consequently, Abdullah was more regular about his (Suh/lr) night prayers.

Dream Interpreter

In the world of Islamic dream interpretation, experts suggest that dreams arise from within and find their meaning through our thoughts. Consider your soul as a light residing within you. When you slumber, this light expands like sunlight, revealing the messages that the angel of dreams conveys. Upon awakening, it’s akin to a cloud masking the sun, yet fragments of the dream might linger within your soul’s grasp.

Some proclaim that spiritual sensations surpass physical experiences. The soul grasps truths while our senses are confined to the tangible world. For a dream interpreter, it’s crucial to comprehend that dreams can possess different meanings across various locales. This is analogous to diverse soils necessitating distinct types of water. Hence, dream interpretations can vary from place to place.

As previously discussed, interpreting dreams necessitates knowledge encompassing religion, inner emotions, and culture. Dreams also bear the influence of weather and a place’s culture. For instance, if an individual from a warm climate dreams of snow or hail, it could signify rising costs or a lack of rain. Conversely, if someone from a colder region dreams of snow, rain, and hail, it may portend a bountiful harvest and prosperity. Therefore, unraveling dream meanings involves weaving these intricate elements together, as elaborated upon by Shaikh Abdul Ghani Nabulsi in his book “Ta’atir-ul Anum.” Further insights can be gained at tabeeronline.pk

Who sees the dream? Islamic dream interpretation

Who experiences dreams—the soul or the self? Opinions diverge about the soul (referred to as “ral!”) and the self (known as “nafe”). Some believe they are one and the same (similar to “man” and “human being”), while others hold a contrasting perspective. Those in the first group contend that the self (nafs) is synonymous with blood. For instance, the Arabs use “Nafasat-il mar’a” when describing a woman’s discharge of blood during her menstrual cycle. Similarly, when a woman gives birth, they say “Nafsa” due to the accompanying release of blood during delivery. They argue that blood is the sole substance departing the body upon death. Therefore, when referring to someone’s passing, they use the phrase “Siilat nafsuhu,” signifying the exuding of their blood or their demise. Even in English, the term ‘bloodless’ implies death. In this context, the Arabic term “nafs” signifies life or blood. These insights are elaborated upon in the writings of Shaikh Abdul Ghani Nabulsi, as presented in the book “Ta’atir-ul Anum.”

Strength of One’s Dreams

In the realm of Islamic dream interpretation, the significance of a dream holds greater potency when experienced at dawn, during an afternoon nap, as fruits mature on their trees, at harvest time, when one’s astrological sign is ascendant, in conjunction with intentions to finalize a business contract or contemplate marriage, or during the conclusion of a decade, among other instances. Notably, dreams during a daytime nap bear more weight than those occurring at night. Conversely, the interpretive value of dreams tends to diminish during the winter season.

A dream perceived by a righteous ruler or governor is deemed a divine inspiration from the Almighty. The visions of community leaders are influenced by their beliefs, while those of servants hold relevance for their employers. Women’s dreams often manifest more swiftly than men’s. For wrongdoers, their dreams serve as evidence against them on the Day of Judgment, unless they seek repentance before their passing. Dreams harbored by the affluent carry greater influence than those of the less fortunate, and the former’s dreams tend to materialize sooner. Dreams of the indigent materialize more gradually when indicating favorable outcomes, and expedite when foretelling hardships.

Due to their innocence, the dreams of young children bear more veracity compared to those of adolescents. This is because older children might be preoccupied with mischievous endeavors and newly awakened desires. Dreams of an intoxicated individual lack foundation. As explained by Shaikh Al-Karamani, dreams of scholars hold greater authenticity than those of the uninformed, dreams of virtuous individuals are more truthful than those of the unvirtuous, dreams of good-hearted people carry more accuracy than those of the wicked, and dreams of the elderly are more credible than those of the young.
